Managing Master Pages
Master pages are a master or background for regular pages. The objects on a master page appear on the background of each page linked to this master page. All the pages with the same master page look the same. If you want to add some common objects, such as a logo, title block, header, footer, page number, etc., to multiple pages, you can create a master page and link it to the pages. Each such page will include the same objects at the same position. If you need to change the logo, title, or any other common object, you update it on the master page, and all the linked pages will include the updates.
A document can include one or more than one master page. A page can be linked to no or one master page. A master page can be linked to no, one, or more than one page.
