Moving Master Pages

You can move one or more master pages existing in the document with either:

  • The Pages panel on the Layout ribbon tab.

  • The master page context-sensitive menu.

To move one or more master pages in a document:

  1. Open or go to the Page Navigator pane.

  2. In the Page Navigator pane, click the Master Pages tab.

  3. Select one or more master pages you want to move.

  4. Go to the Layout tab of the ribbon.

  5. Click the Move button in the Pages panel.

    The Move Page(s) dialog pops up.

  6. In the Move Page(s) pop-up dialog, select the Before or After radio button.

  7. From the drop-down list, select the master page before or after which the selected master pages should be moved.

  8. Click the Ok button.

To move one or more master pages in a document:

  1. Open or go to the Page Navigator pane.

  2. In the Page Navigator pane, click the Master Pages tab.

  3. Select one or more master pages you want to move.

  4. Right-click and click the Move Master Pages menu command.

    The Move Page(s) dialog pops up.

  5. In the Move Page(s) pop-up dialog, select the Before or After radio button.

  6. From the drop-down list, select the page before or after which the selected master pages should be moved.

  7. Click the Ok button.
