Canvas Envision Portal Overview

Canvas Envision Portal is a collaborative cloud environment for teams to store and share Envision documents in workspaces and work centers.

Workspace

An area on the Envision Portal dedicated to your team's collaboration. Think of workspaces as projects.

Work center

A place in a workspace where you create, edit, view, manage, and share Envision documents. Think of work centers as drives on computers.

You and your teammates work in your organization's workspace on the Portal. During the browser session, you work in the workspace that you have specified when signing into the Portal.

Specifying the workspace

A workspace can include one or more work centers.

Showcase Centers

A work center stores Envision documents that can be gathered in folders and provides the functionality for their management.

Techdocs Work Center

Workspaces, work centers, documents, and functionality are visible and available to you depending on your team and membership type managed by workspace Admins. They can change your team participation and membership type.
